2024 SEA LEARNING CHALLENGE Friday 20th September 2024
National Sailing Academy Launched the 2024 Sea Learning Challenge with a Strong Female Presence. This year, six enthusiastic students had embarked on a transformative journey of intensive two-week sailing lessons with their Instructors Xavier Athill & Tajanica Thomas. Notably, this cohort included five women and one man, a gender balance that underscores our commitment to promoting inclusivity in the traditionally male-dominated world of sailing. Our six scholarship recipients, Ramonté George, Rhiana Matthews, Iman Blackman, Aliya Brown, Alisa Frank & Jahmia Thomas completed their Levels 1, 2, and 3 RYA Learn to Sail certifications. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements!

We would like to say thank you to Agnes Francis Adolphine and her team, Skye-Amalia Durham, Carimé Cayjsha Warrell and Lola Valentina Proaño Montana, as well as our Instructors and their assistants, for a successful two-weeks. We look forward to the newly certified sailors continuing their newfound passion for sailing.
