CALL FOR VENDORS FOR OPTINAM 2015 Thursday 4th June 2015
The North American Optimist Championship Antigua 2015 will be from Sunday 5th July, when there will be a grand opening ceremony with a cultural parade through English Harbour and down into Nelson's Dockyard, where the opening ceremony will take place culminating in fireworks. The parade will be at 4.30 and we want to encourage as many people as possible to come. There are 168 sailors from 22 countries along with their coaches, country reps and team
We want to encourage businesses or people to have a few stalls in the car park of the Yacht Club for the regatta to sell souvenirs, clothes, sailing gear, or whatever else kids like to buy. The stalls will not have to be manned all day. The kids are there for breakfast, approximately 7-8 am and then back again from 5 - 9 pm for dinner and entertainment.
There will be other people around like the parents, news people etc that will be looking for food, etc. so hopefully some places will be open if they know people will be around.
