AYC CARIBBEAN DINGHY CHAMPIONSHIPS Monday 30th July 2012
The Antigua Yacht Club will be hosting the Caribbean Dinghy Championships 10th – 12th August 2012.
The qualifying races will be held as follows:
• Tuesday 31st July 4 pm – Optimist Class
• Thursday 2nd August 4 pm – Zoom 8 Class
• Friday 3rd August 4 pm – Laser Radial and Laser Standard
• Sunday 5th August 1 pm– Laser Pico (2 person class)
Please make sure you are at AYC at least 30 minutes before the start of racing.
The Antigua Team will be chosen from the winning sailors in the respective classes.
Once again, the AYC is hosting the above Championships and is looking for volunteers to help out both on and off the water.
On the water we would appreciate help with the Committee Boat or the Safety Boats and would also be very grateful for a volunteer to photograph the event. The sailing will take place during Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Off the water we would appreciate help with the catering – Patsy White will be the caterer but we would appreciate help with laying out and clearing away the breakfast for Saturday morning and Sunday morning (approx 7 am – 9 am) and supper on both Friday and Saturday evenings.
