ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB

Three young Antiguan sailors had the privilege of competing at the recent Optimist World championships held in Dominican Republic from July 15 to 25, 2012.  Rocco Falcone topped the Antiguan fleet with Louis Bavay not far behind and Rhone Kirby bringing up the rear.  While none of the Antiguan youngsters finished in the top ranks, it was a fabulous opportunity for our young Antiguan sailors to compete in a major world-class competition and it provided them with valuable experience to help them prepare for future international competitions.  Congratulations to Rocco, Louis and Rhone!
