ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB TO HOLD FIRST SHAMROCK REGATTA THIS WEEKEND Tuesday 13th March 2012
Antigua Yacht Club will hold its first ever Shamrock Regatta on St. Patrick's Day - Saturday, March 17. This event will consists of two pursuit races with the first race beginning at 11 am. Everyone is invited to participate in this fun event. Because it's a pursuit race, boats of all types are suitable for participation. The slowest boats will start first and the faster ones will start later with the goal of having all boats reach the finish line at approximately the same time.
There will be a party on the lawn at Antigua Yacht Club at 5 pm following the races with Irish food, Irish drinks and Irish music. Even if you are unable to race, come out and join the St. Patrick's Day party at Antigua Yacht Club. Wear green and get a complimentary Irish Whisky or Guinness!
