ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB’S KARL JAMES QUALIFIES AS SENIOR RYA SAILING INSTRUCTOR Saturday 25th June 2011
Karl James, chief sailing instructor at Antigua Yacht Club and former Antiguan Olympic sailor, has recently completed six days of rigorous training and examinations at an RYA course held in Poole in the UK. Karl's success in this difficult course has qualified him as a Senior RYA Sailing Instructor.
While Karl is and has been exceptionally qualified for many years to teach the skills required to become an excellent dinghy sailor, he has now formalized those qualifications by taking the course and examinations necessary to get an official certification.
Antigua Yacht Club is exceptionally proud of Karl and is delighted to welcome him back to Antigua where he will continue to spread his love and passion for sailing to as many students as he can.
