ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB SUMMER SAILING PROGRAM Friday 3rd June 2011
The Antigua Yacht Club will be hosting it's usual Summer sailing program for kids ages 8 - 18 years old. Persons interested in attending the fun camp or the certificate program can contact the Yacht Club at 460 – 1799 or 460 - 6128.
Session 1: (Fun Camp) 4th – 7th July EC$280 per week 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Session 2: (Certificate Program) 11th – 15th and 18th – 22nd July EC$180 per week 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon. Also available 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. This is a two week course.
Session 3: (Fun Camp) 25th – 28th July EC$280 per week 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
1st & 2nd August are public holidays so activities will continue the following week.
Session 4: (Certificate Program) 8th – 12th and 15th – 18th August EC$180 per week 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon. Also available 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. This is a two week course.
Session 5: (Fun Camp) 22nd – 25th August EC$280 per week 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Fun Camp: Hiking, Fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, beach games, sailing games, sailing tours etc.
Certificate Program: Two week certificate course which teaches sailing skills and seamanship skills. Boats used are: Optimist, Laser Pico, and Lasers.
