CALL FOR PRO VOLUNTEERS Friday 20th June 2025
English Harbour, June 17, 2025 — The Antigua Yacht Club (AYC) is seeking dynamic individuals to answer the call as volunteer Public Relations Officers (PRO), to help elevate the Club’s profile and enhance its communication strategy.
As AYC charts a course toward stronger outreach and engagement, these volunteers will play a critical role in shaping the Club’s public image. Responsibilities include:

Crafting media updates, press releases, and building outreach

Highlighting club events, such as races, social gatherings, and other programs

Building relationships with local and regional media

Amplifying and promoting yacht club activities
By boosting visibility and engagement, PRO volunteers help foster a stronger, more connected membership. It’s also a rewarding opportunity for personal and professional growth, enhancing PR experience while sailing alongside culture-steeped traditions.
