NOR: 21ST ANTIGUA LASER OPEN Tuesday 27th February 2024
The Antigua Yacht Club is hosting the 21st Antigua Laser Open on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April 2024 - see race rules, early bird discount
RULES: Racing will be governed by the 2021-2024 ISAF World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing, the Laser Class Rules, the prescription of the race committee, and the sailing instructions.
ENTRY FORMS & FEE:
Entry forms can be collected at the Yacht Club’s Office. Open Mon – Fri 9 – 4.
Entry fee includes lunch on Saturday
Early Bird Entry Fee – US$60/EC$162.00
Early Bird Payment should be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 27th March 2024.
The Entry Fee is – US$80/EC$216.00
Payment should be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 3rd April 2024.
Members: We have a limited amount of Lasers available, if you would like to enter, please hand in your entry form with entry fee to reserve your Laser.
EQUIPMENT: The racing will be sailed in standard Lasers. Non-members are asked to bring their own lasers or they can charter a boat for US$90 in addition to the entry.
If one has a preference in equipment, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
COURSE & NO. OF RACES: The races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour and will be a Trapezoid or Windward/Leeward. The course will be given in the sailing instructions. There will be a maximum of 12 races.
PRIZES & SCORING: Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the standard , 1st in Radial and 1st in 4.7 . Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A.
