SUPER YACHT CHALLENGE ANTIGUA Monday 24th January 2011
The Super Yacht Challenge Antigua will be held from the 28th to the 30th of January, 2011. To date there are five confirmed entries with expressions of interest having been received from several other Super Yachts. Confirmed so far are Sojana, Marie, Marama, Nefertiti and This is Us. Interested yachts include Windrose of Amsterdam, Elena, Vesper and Mirabella V, among others.

Yachts must be 80 feet or more (LOA) to be eligible enter.
Eligible yachts may be entered by completing registration with the SYCA Committee
Completed forms must be submitted no later than 18:00 hours Tuesday 25th January
Entry fee is US$4,000.00
Payment by Credit Card, Cash, Cheque or Wire Transfer.
Race days: 28th, 29th and 30th January 2011
Races on courses with marks set to prevailing conditions off the south coast of Antigua.
Start/Finish line every day off entrance to English Harbour (Fort Charlotte).
All races approx: 12 - 30 miles. These are all Pursuit Races.
RULES
The regatta will be sailed under the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 (RRS) – modified.
RATINGS & SCORING
Ratings and start times are determined using the familiar Bucket Rule administered by Jim Teeters.
The Low Point Scoring System will be used
EVENTS
Thursday 27th January – Welcome reception 1800 – 2000
Friday 28th January – After racing: results and drinks 1700 at the Dockyard Capstans.
Saturday 29th January – The “Cook off” competition between the yachts - 1900 at the Capstans
Sunday 30th January – Prize giving Dinner 1900 at the Admiral’s Inn
