ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB

Carrack Jones will attempt to set a world record sailing an Optimist boat from Antigua to Sint Maarten 100 nautical miles (115 miles)(185 km) on Nov 21st 2023 unassisted in the open ocean. The previous record set was 80 NM Antigua to St Barths. Carrack has competed in the last two Optimist World Championships and was the youngest skipper in Antigua Sailing Week last year sailing Blue Peter (j30) with his youth team picking up second place. He hopes to complete this adventure on the 22 in Sint Maarten and then compete in the Optimist Regatta in Sint Maarten that weekend. Please help support Carrack in accomplishing his goal!!
