VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OPTINAM Monday 19th June 2023
The first sailors for the North American Optimist Championships will be arriving in Antigua at the weekend, ready to practice for the competition that starts on 2nd July. The 120 boats that will be competing, are already on island. Volunteers are needed on Saturday 24th to help unpack the containers and unload them into the dockyard.
For the event proper, hands are needed to launch and recover boats, to crew the committee boat, and help in measuring and manning the offices.
