ANTIGUA YACHT CLUB COVID-19 UPDATE Wednesday 1st April 2020
Due to new developments regarding COVID-19, The Commodore and Board of the Antigua Yacht club wishes to advise all members that the Youth Sailing Program and the Easter Program will be suspended effective immediately, until further notice, A credit will be provided for all outstanding sessions.
The Board regards the Health and Safety of its Youth Sailors as priority. In order to conform with the Governments regulations regarding the containment of the Virus, We Therefore see this action as necessary to protect our Students, Staff and by extension, all members.
Currently the Yacht Club office staff are working remotely, and can be reached (268) 460-1799 or ayc@yachtclub.ag. Should a member require access to the Facility and Equipment (on individual basis only), kindly contact the office to make necessary arrangements. Please note that safety cover will be significantly reduced and members may choose to take their equipment away for the duration. Update: For members needing boats, this will not be available until after the 24/7 lockdown has been lifted.
The Board will continue to assess the situation on a week to week basis and inform its Members of any further developments.
