WORLD-RECORD 64 ENTRIES FOR OPTIWORLD IN ANTIGUA Thursday 18th April 2019
262 competitors from 64 countries have now registered for the 2019 Optimist World Championship, breaking the world record for the most countries competing in a single class regatta. The latest countries to join the regatta include Cyprus, St Vincent & The Grenadines, and Malaysia. Antigua will host the event and its competitors, their coaches, and families over 6th – 16th July.
A fun event for the competing teams has also recently been announced, the Team Photo Competition, where teams are asked to send in a fun and creative photo of their team for a shot at prizes for each team member. Get all the details here.
