MOTIVATED PERSONNEL FOR HOSPITALITY VACANCIES Tuesday 1st August 2023
If you are friendly, dynamic and a motivated service personnel who is committed to offering a high-quality guest experience there are immediate vacancies for the following positions. Applicant must be a detail oriented, self-starting individual with a friendly and approachable personality. Must be pro-active and punctual. Focused, flexible and structured approach to the job is required. Previous resort experience will be an asset. F&B applicants require an up-to-date Food Handlers Certificate. Primary specific qualifications by position are:
RESTAURANT HOST
- Report to the F&B Supervisor.
- Have excellent customer relations skills.
- Have a positive, outgoing personality.
- Have a sound working knowledge of Point of Sale systems and computer literate. Previous hospitality industry experience will be an asset.
- Be well organized, detail oriented and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Be flexible in ability to work shifts and varied hours.
BARTENDER
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavour pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 40 lbs
F&B SERVER
- Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality with a fully engaged, service-oriented attitude
- A very dynamic personality with a strong passion for the hospitality industry, we seek talented servers that gain great pride looking after guest and are consistently pleasant and polite in their forthcoming.
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift a minimum of 30 lbs
- A team player who is alert to Guest and Team Member needs
BELL HOP
- Have good communication skills with a desire to interact with guests and coworkers, an even temperament and the initiative to work on your own but enjoy working as part of a team
- Be capable of carrying loads across varied terrain on property
- Have a valid drivers licence
- Have computer Skills – Microsoft Excel, Accpac and being numerate will be an asset
- Be able to work flexible hours
- Previous experience in resort operations will be an asset
HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT
- Ability to consistently ensure and maintain guest rooms and public areas to standard with amenities properly presented and a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
- Physical ability and stamina required and ability to work under pressure especially between check-out and check-in time
- Possess excellent people skills and ability to comfortably interact with guests & team.
HOUSEMAN
- Be dynamic, with a focused and structured approach to the job
- Be capable of carrying loads across varied terrain on property
- To be able to carry out deep cleaning and work in varied areas of resort’s property
- To be able to drive a golf cart and possess a valid drivers licence
- Be versatile and willing to undertake routine tasks
- Be able to work flexible hours
- Previous experience in resort operations will be an asset
LINE CHEF
- Have experience in all aspects of kitchen preparation and on the hot line
- Have high standards in food presentation with knowledge of basic cooking standards
- Are imaginative and flexible and passionate about the hospitality industry
- Takes pride in delivering consistent, quality meals with strong attention to detail
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift a minimum of 30 lbs
KITCHEN STEWARD
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, supplies, and dishes/pots/pans while contributing to a safe environment.
- Responsible for the safe use and storage of chemicals and equipment and comply with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Assist chefs as necessary.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
