SPRAY PAINTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF GARBAGE DRUMS Tuesday 8th June 2010
In an attempt to help to preserve and keep the environment garbage free, the Kiwanis Club of Wadadli embarked upon a garbage drum distribution project. With that said, the members gathered at the Victoria Park on Saturday 22nd May 2010 to begin the project. The name of the Club was embossed unto the drums with stencils that were created by some members and a friend of the Club.
Not only was team work needed to complete the project but it started and ended as a joint project by two of the Club’s committees: Sponsored Youth/Young Children Priority One and Community Services. The drums were distributed to the Francis Pre-school, El Taco Loco and Victoria Park. Other places to receive drums are the Cobbs Cross Primary School, Fort James and Jabberwok beaches.
Special thanks to the Antigua Public Utilities Authority, Leewind Paints Kennedy’s Enterprises Ltd and the friends of KCW for their sponsorship.
