SUPPORT TEAM ANTIGUA ROWERS
Monday 9th October 2017

With less than 64 days to go in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, Team Antigua still needs funding. After 16 months of training, adventures, and social media, a few sponsors have met their Bronze level of sponsorship (US$10k). Their posts have reached hundreds of thousands of people and things will get more busy as their row across the Atlantic gets closer to the start, and eventually the finish line.

The team will be representing Antigua and Barbuda, and with that in mind they have decided that in addition to trying to raise money for setting up a marine protected area outside of English Harbour, they will also be raising money for post Hurricane Irma Barbuda Relief.

They still have to make it to the start line, and also need funds for their team's personal loans to pay for the campaign, which is as burdensome as the stress of leaving their jobs and familes for up to 3 months! You can help by visiting: www.teamantiguabarbuda.com to donate. While you can donate directly to their charities once they have met the funding target, for now all donations are paying for the expenses of their campaign, including paying for flights from the UK to the Canary Islands in just over 50 days.

If you work with a company that you think may like to be aligned with their team, then please convince a decision maker in that company to get in touch. There are good opportunities for PR and marketing.
