The Rocks Group has been keeping a close eye on the Atlantic Dash. The second team (The Atlantic Rocks) arrived yesterday March 6th at 10:00am after spending 61 days on the water. They received a warm welcome by everyone in Jolly Harbor before enjoying a meal prepared by Sheer Rocks. 

Atlantic Rocks received an extraordinary welcome at Jolly Harbour, with residents lining the marina, cheering and making plenty of noise. Yachts sounded their horns, and a flotilla of small boats, led by ABSAR, accompanied them as they approached the dock. They were greeted by friends, family, locals, and holiday-makers, with the lively sound of a steel band in the background.

Officially crossing the finish line around 1:40 am, the crew had the option to arrive then or anchor off Jolly Beach and arrive in daylight for a warmer reception. This allowed them to spend some time together without rowing, a rare opportunity on the ocean, to decompress and reflect before the excitement of landing.

Billy, Alex, and the entire Atlantic Dash team are immensely proud of Phil, Dan, Binnsy, and Wally, an inspirational team who faced adversity with resilience and reached for the stars.
