Gabriela and Douglas are incredible hosts with unusual integrity and concern for our well being. We booked a studio cottage which was well furnished with comfortable furniture and great kitchen utensils. The cottage overlooks tidal lake which is home to a large variety of birds including herons and pelicans. A short walk takes you to tennis courts and the beautiful ocean beach. We enjoyed having the kitchen, and went out to dinner frequently, inspired by the good restaurants which our hosts recommended. In fact, we agreed with 99% of their recommendations for food and trips [and we’re spoiled].
