BUDGET MARINE

After enjoying their bragging rights as the Champion Boat of 2013 for nearly a year now, "BOUFFY" from French St. Martin recently confirmed to event organizers that they will be back to defend their crown at this year’s 7th edition of the Budget Marine Wahoo Tournament.

With 10 weeks to go, this year’s edition of the Budget Marine Wahoo tournament is set to be hosted in the midst of what many expect to be a wild Wahoo season boasting more than $14,000 in cash & prizes divided over 10 categories. Click here to see full tournament information.

Also, fishing team "Living The Dream" all the way from St. Croix will return to St.Maarten for the 7th edition of the event to try to finally become Champion Boat overall, after letting it slip away two of the last 4 years.  

It all kicks off with the Captain's Briefing & Registration on the evening of November 14th, 2014. The 2 day fishing competition itself will be on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2014, followed by the prize giving ceremony later that evening on the waterfront, at Bobby’s Marina.

Making this event attractive to regional fishermen, there will be special rates at the newly renovated Pasanggrahan Hotel just 1 minute walk from the marina where the tournament is being held.

So mark your calendars so you don’t miss this event, which has earned the reputation of a 2 day first class fishing competition. Fishermen from all around the region come together for this weekend in mid-November for Fishing, Family Fun!

Live music entertainment for all and games for children, so bring the entire family and come down to Bobby’s Marina on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon starting at 3pm when the fishermen return for the weighing–in of their catches.
