Farside, located within the Galleon Beach resort, is a beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom, rental home, set in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens that overlook Galleon Beach, English Harbour, and the ocean beyond.
The house boasts a large kitchen and open plan living space which opens onto a verandah and outdoor covered dining terrace with a large round dining table, great for entertaining, and with idyllic views. There is a spacious, relaxing lounge area comfortably furnished, open on two sides to the balcony and dining terrace. The kitchen has a dishwasher, two fridge freezers, and a gas hob and oven. The kitchen is a good size, well equipped, and is complete with a breakfast bar. High-speed fibre optic broadband has been installed.
One of the two master bedroom suites is located on one side of the generous living space. The bedroom itself is a large room with windows to the east and south, allowing the breeze to blow through. There is ample closet and hanging space and shelves, and a good-sized en suite bathroom. The second master bedroom is located on the opposite side of the lounge and has a king bed, walk-through closet, and en suite bathroom. This bedroom has its own balcony with amazing views over Galleon Beach.
A corridor leads to two further bedrooms and a third shared shower room. The shower room is open to the sky, a unique feature of this lovely Caribbean-style home. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed with a further private balcony and stunning views, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds.
Farside is located on a hillside overlooking Galleon Beach, one of Antigua’s finest beaches, which is just a few steps away. Farside is set in mature tropical gardens and has a large pool, terrace, and gazebo perfect for entertaining and relaxing.
The house is cooled by the ever-present cooling breezes, assisted by ceiling fans in all areas. All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The house has plentiful cistern storage for fresh water. There is a laundry area and ample parking.
Galleon Beach is one of Antiguas most stunning locations. The dazzling white sand beach is a couple of minutes walk down the hill. There’s a popular beach bar and restaurant, Loose Cannon, on the beach, as well as a rum academy to try your hand at making your own rum. A ferry service runs across to English Harbour, only a few minutes away.
