ABBA ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR NATIONAL SPORTS AWARDS Friday 6th December 2019
Friday 6th December, 2019 (St John’s, Antigua). The Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) is pleased to announce its nominees, in the various categories, for the 2019 National Sports Awards.
The nominees are as follows:
• Sports Administrator of the Year – Miss Kebra Nanton
• Sports Official of the Year – Mrs Oleno Knight
• Junior Sportsman of the Year – Mr Javonte Daley
• Sportsman of the Year – Bryan “Hollywood” Matthew

To be recognized among some of the Nation’s best in sports is truly a great achievement, and the Association commends the athletes and officials on this high accolade.
Each of the nominees, in their respective categories, demonstrated a high level of performance at all levels, and at the same time, showed commitment to the sport and its continued development, in Antigua and Barbuda.
The 2019 National Sports Awards will be held on Saturday 15th February 2020 under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports, Culture, National Festival and the Arts.
