ANTIGUA GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP Monday 21st May 2012
“In Pursuit of Excellence” Scholarship is an annual scholarship program celebrating and rewarding the excellence and leadership of our youths, specifically those of the Antigua Girls’ High School (AGHS).
The scholarship is an annual program designed and financed by the Antigua Girls’ High School Alumni Association New York - USA, Inc. (AGHSAA), a not-for-profit organization comprising of AGHS “old girls” living within the Northeast tri-state area.
It is with respect and appreciation for the foundational pillars established during their experience while at the AGHS that the group proudly seeks to give back to another generation through scholarship opportunities such as this.
The “In Pursuit of Excellence” Scholarship covers registration, tuition, books and related academic fees to assist the successful recipient to complete her studies at the Antigua State College for the required length of her chosen programme. (Be it at the Advance Level Department, the Department of Business, the Department of Engineering and Construction, the Pharmaceutical Department, or the School of Nursing). Consequently, all AGHS fifth form students are invited to apply as they make the transition to tertiary education.
Applications are available at the Antigua Girls’ High School and the Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, St. John’s Street, with a submission deadline of June 15, 2011. The process is coordinated by the AGHSAA NY Scholarship Committee with strong support from the AGHSAA NY Scholarship Selection Committee in Antigua.
