2018 TALISKER WHISKY ATLANTIC CHALLENGE WRAPS
Monday 4th March 2019

With the arrival of the final rower, Kelda Wood, we see the close another gruelling Atlantic row, the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. After 76 days, Kelda was the final of 27 rowing teams to cross the finish line and relish a spectacular welcome into Nelson's Dockyard.

Most notable of all arrivals, especially for those of us in Antigua, was that of the Team Antigua Island Girls, crossing the finish line and being welcomed by a drove of spectators, filling the Dockyard to watch the historic row come to an end. This 2018 edition of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, like many others, has seen the making and breaking of Guinness World Records and TWAC race records.

Get a full Race Summary from Safety Officer Ian Couch, and see race afterwords from CEO Carsten Heron Olsen. Check out the Atlantic Campaigns video feed to see live coverage of each arrival, and follow the page for race updates on the 2019 TWAC, starting in La Gomera, Canary Islands, on 12th December.
