TEAM ANTIGUA COMPLETE 200-MILE TRAINING ROW
Monday 21st August 2017

Training for the 2017 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge continues for Team Antigua with their recently completed 200-mile row from Antigua to the BVI. Starting on 12th August, the team averaged 100 miles per day to arrive roughly 48 hours later.

From Team Antigua on arrival:
“A wonderful welcome from the HIHO and the Nanny Cay guys after rowing for two days from Antigua to the BVI. We are pretty stoked with the 100 mile per day average and with the trip in general. Those Go Hiho Suntech shirts kept us cool and protected from the sun.”

The row is in preparation for the 2017/18 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, starting in La Gomera, Canary Islands on 12th December, and ending 3000nm away here in Nelson’s Dockyard, Antigua. Team Antigua, consisting of Eli Fuller, John Watt, Nico Psihoyos, and Scott Potter, continue to seek donations and sponsorship to get them to the start of the challenge, and for their recently announced charity for the challenge, the Environmental Awareness Group. The team also has merchandise on sale to help raise funds including bags, stickers, bumper stickers and shirts.
