AHTA OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT Wednesday 5th May 2010
Tourism is going to remain the pillar of the Antiguan economy for the foreseeable future and the AHTA is looking to the brightest and the best of Antiguan talent to lead the way as the next generation of hotel industry leaders.
The AHTA is offering two scholarships for the two year Associate Degree course in Hospitality Management at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute. Applicants are asked to submit a 2000 word essay on "What Tourism means to me".
The best submissions will be asked to make a presentation of their essay before a panel of hotel industry leaders. The original deadline of May 5th is being extended until Friday May 14th to allow more applicants to take advantage of this scholarship opportunity. The winning scholarships will be presented at the Annual Tourism awards Gala on May 25th at Sandals Grand Antigua.
