Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Awards Gala
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Awards Gala will take place on November 24, 2024, marking the grand finale of Tourism Week 2024, scheduled from November 17-24, 2024. This prestigious event will bring together the best in Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry. We are proud to present this gala in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, and the Antigua Cruise Port.
This year’s gala will recognize outstanding contributions to the tourism sector with a total of eleven (11) awards, celebrating individuals across the broad spectrum of the industry. The categories are as follows:
ABHTA Member Categories – Now Open for Nominations:
- Employee of the Year
- Supervisor of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Young Hotelier of the Year
- Young Chef of the Year
- Chef of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award (selected by industry officials)
Ministry of Tourism (MOT) Categories – ABHTA Members with employees qualifying in these categories are invited to nominate:
8. Transportation Service Provider of the Year
9. Tour Guide of the Year
10. Port Frontline Employee of the Year
11. Customer Service Excellence Award
We invite you to submit your nominations for these awards as an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional individuals who play an integral role in Antigua and Barbuda's thriving tourism sector. Detailed information and editable nomination forms for each category are attached for your convenience.
Submission Process:
- Please complete the nomination forms and return them via email to anthea@antiguahotels.org
- Only one employee may be nominated per category.
- To streamline the judging process, only three (3) nominees per category will be announced, with the final winner revealed at the Gala.
Deadline for Nominations: October 18, 2024.
