A Turkish Hamam bath experience dates back to the Romans and Byzantine eras, and is one of the oldest bath rituals in the world. A steam bath combined with cleansing rituals such as a massaging scrub. Now you don’t have to go all the way to Instanbul to find this cleansing and relaxing tradition. For an authentic and invigorating experince, let Denzia and Janni at the Hamam Spa at the AYC Marina Hotel spoil you. I can safely say that I have never felt so pampered and relaxed with silky-soft skin. I opted for the bubble and scrub; 45 minutes of pure luxury. Five minutes in a steam room prepared my skin for the most amazing massage and scrub before being cocooned in what felt like the softest cotton wool imaginable, actually soapy and moisturising bubbles. The only downside? It had to end!
