MEET THE EAG NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Thursday 4th October 2018
Dear EAG Members and Friends,
We are pleased to announce that we have hired an Executive Director in the person of Ms. Arica Hill.
Arica holds a Masters in Environmental Management (Sustainable Development) from Bond University, Australia. Much of her studies focused on environmental education and public relations. Following the completion of her degree Arica won a prestigious fellowship at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change where she worked on education and training specifically, and methods to increase youth engagement and advocacy.
Arica's love for the environment meant that she worked with the Department of Environment for many years and created curricula and programs to engage and educate youth and adults. She also was active in the development of policy that presently impacts upon the lives of Antiguans and Barbudans.
During this year Arica will be focused on increasing membership and funding, and improving the image of the EAG, among other things. We invite you to welcome her into our organisation and lend her the support that is needed to ensure that the EAG remains the foremost environmental NGO in Antigua and Barbuda.
Thank you.
