IWC GOLF FOR EDUCATION COMING 14 NOVEMBER Thursday 5th November 2015
Now in its eighth year, the International Women’s Club Golf for Education Tournament has attracted solid support from local golf enthusiasts and business sponsors. The tournament will be held at the Cedar Valley Golf Course on Saturday, November 14, beginning at 8 am.
Last year the event netted close to $35,000 for the club’s primary fundraising activity, the Women’s Scholarship Programme that awards $30,000-40,000 each year to Antiguan women pursuing tertiary education goals.
In the previous seven years, the IWC has raised over $500,000 for 140 women’s scholarships through this tournament. The club also donates funds to adult literacy and dyslexia teacher training programmes.

IWC non-golfing members as well as the general public can attend the lunch and auction for a fee of $50.
