Position: Human Resource Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Human Resource Coordinator.
The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for providing support in all areas of the human resource function, including but not limited to: recruitment and onboarding, training and staff development, employee engagement, performance management, and general human resource administration for branches across the company network.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with unit managers to identify recruitment needs, seek approval for hires, ensure completion of role profiles before recruitment, and coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including compliance with Know Your Employee requirements.
- Assist with preparing training content as assigned, communicate with stakeholders to ensure training needs are met, and maintain training records (e.g., attendance records and certificates).
- Provide tactical support for the annual performance management process.
- Participate in employee engagement activities through feedback sessions to identify areas of improvement, make recommendations for addressing concerns, and contribute to the successful implementation of staff engagement programs.
- Assist the Human Resource Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Provide general human resource support by administering health insurance, maintaining human resource records (e.g., employee files, leave and performance records, organizational charts), and generating reports as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or General Management.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role would be an asset.
- Knowledge of human resource best practices and labor laws to ensure HR policies and strategies are consistent and fair during the implementation process.
