Job Title: Resort Manager

Curtain Bluff – an award-winning Relais & Châteaux hotel - is an elegant island luxury resort that is friendly, inviting, and blends timeless seaside elegance with “toes in the sand” charm.

The impact of the Resort Manager will be to lead and collaboratively work alongside department leaders to operate and oversee Curtain Bluff’s day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for working within and maintaining budgets, ensuring adherence to the resort standards while ensuring owner and guest satisfaction. This individual will help grow our culture through guiding our teams and taking genuine care and interest in them and the well-being of our guests.

Positions Requirements

•     Establish and implement policies and procedures in line with the objectives of the hotel
•     Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service by addressing and resolving guest issues or complaints promptly
•     Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability
•     Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to increase visibility and increase occupancy
•     Conduct regular inspections of the resort to ensure all facilities and services are in excellent condition
•     Interact with guests to gather feedback and improve services
•     Coordinate and oversee events, entertainment and guest activities.

Positions Requirements

•     A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred; Business Administration or relevant field.
•     At least 5 years of experience in a luxury resort
•     Ability to work flexible hours, especially on holidays and weekends
•     Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance
•     Must have experience in at least 3 luxury or ultra-luxury brands or independent properties.
•     Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems
•     Exceptional knowledge and understanding of industry best practices, relevant laws and guidelines, and safety standards.
•     Excellent communication and customer service skills
•     Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
