WADADLI YOUTH PEN PRIZE

The 2011 Best of Books Wadadli Pen literary submissions are in and the window has closed.
But the organizers would like to remind visual artists, 35 years and younger, that they can still register to create supporting art for the top entries.
How it will work is once the judges have made their selections, excerpts of the winning pieces will go out to registered artists will then create illustrations (per issued guidelines) much like artists do in the field of publishing – creating cover art and illustrations to enhance children’s stories.
The theme for this year’s competition is children’s literature and creating in response to these entries should prove an invigorating challenge for artists.
