20 ANTIGUAN ATHLETES IN COMMONWEALTH GAMES Thursday 24th July 2014
The 2014 Commonwealth Games will take place in Glasgow, Scotland this year and a 20-person team has been registered to represent Antigua & Barbuda.
The best athletes from the 71 Commonwealth countries will vie for the podium at the games held every four years, and which run this year from July 23 to August 3.
Registered to attend the event in the following disciplines are:
- Athletics: Daniel Bailey, Kasheem Colbourne, Miguel Francis, Cejhae Green, Chavaughn Walsh, Tahir Walsh, Alfia Charles, Samantha Edwards, Priscilla Frederick, Amy Harris.
- Boxing: Yakita Aska, Damion Davidson.
- Cycling: Tamiko Butler, Andre Simon, Jyme Bridges, Marvin Spencer.
- Shooting: Thomas Greenaway, Anderson Perry.
- Swimming: Rachel Wall, J'Air Smith.
