Trip Advisor is a huge travel website where travelers go to see information and reviews from other travelers on hotels, vacation rentals, restaurants, tours and attractions. In fact, there are more than 125 million reviews on the site, and 80 new reviews are added every minute.

Each year, the site runs an international contest where travelers themselves choose the best of the best hotels and restaurants—resulting in the Travelers’ Choice Awards. They also look at those businesses that receive consistently excellent reviews and award Certificates of Excellence.

This year, four Antigua hotels were given Travelers Choice Awards, being among the top 25 Caribbean hotels in various categories.
•    Carlisle Bay took the most honors, being judged among the best in the categories of Top Hotel, Family Hotel and Luxury Hotel.
•    Blue Waters was awarded as a Top Hotel for the Caribbean.
•    Cocobay appeared in the list of the best All-Inclusive and Romance hotels in the Caribbean.

The Certificates of Excellence given out were numerous in Antigua, with 21 restaurants, 10 hotels and 12 tour operators receiving this distinction.The Antiguanice.com clients awarded include:
