INDEPENDENCE, HALLOWEEN, DINING SPECIALS AND MORE ON THIS WEEK

DINING & NIGHTLIFE

Lobster lovers can enjoy their favourite crustacean dish at Al Porto this and every Sunday at Lobster Sundays, where you can pick your own Lobster alongside an unlimited buffet of sides. Al Porto also hosts 241 Pizza Nights on Tuesdays, along with an All You Can Eat Pasta Buffet each Thursday evening. Look out for their live music sessions as well!

Mark the calendar and get tickets early for Ultra IV, the big season-starting party at Abracadabra, scheduled for Saturday November 9th.

RESTAURANT REOPENINGS

Friday November 1st is slated for the reopening of Sun Ra, offering dinner service Monday through Saturday from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, in a stunning waterfront setting.

Sunday 3rd November sees the reopening of Cambusa Italian Restaurant at 6:00 pm, bringing guests a new menu and upgraded wine cellar, and an exceptional dining experience and atmosphere, waterfront at Catamaran Marina.

Sheer Rocks Restaurant, Bar and Lounge is open now, offering Tapas Lunch on both Saturday and Sunday and dinner from 6:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Join them for an unforgettable meal in one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

Also reopening on Friday 1st November is The Inn at English Harbour and both of the resorts restaurants; The Reef and Terrace. Book a vacation or staycation with them at their stunning beachfront resort, or join them for a tasty meal either for lunch on the beach at The Reef, or dinner at the hilltop at Terrace.

Save the date for the reopening of Abracadabra Restaurant and Disco-Bar on Thursday November 14th. Watch out for upcoming parties to get you ready before they reopen.

HALLOWEEN PARTIES

Thursday 31st October is Halloween and there are endless options for parties, including dead sexy parties, a vampire night, haunted mansions and more. For a comprehensive list of everything happening in Antigua for Halloween, click here.

INDEPENDENCE ACTIVITIES

This Friday November 1st is Antigua & Barbuda’s 32nd Independence and is a public holiday here in our twin-island state. Every year there are activities and events organized to commemorate our rebirth as an independent country and this year is no exception, as events continue each day through the weekend. SPORT SHORTS

The next Lionfish Hunt is being held this Sunday November 3rd, this time out of Jolly Harbour. Crews of scuba or free divers are welcome to enter and all hunters are allowed to use slings only to catch Lionfish. The hunt starts at 8:30 am and crews will meet at the end at 3:00 pm and if anyone needs to organize more slings, bags or liability releases, please contact Linda. Click here for more information.

COMMUNITY

A First Aid/CPR Training Course is available from the Antigua & Barbuda Red Cross, starting on Monday 4th November, with classes on Mondays and Thursdays, or on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pick up a copy of “God’s Remedies around Us” by Rosalyn L Simon of Rosmacs’ Herb Garden and learn all about the amazing properties of herbs, the alleged cures for ailments, teas and blends, essential oils and more. The book can be purchased locally and overseas viewers can also arrange purchase and shipping.
