DINING & NIGHTLIFE

The Tides Restaurant has reopened now and is open every day, serving lunch from the grill menu each day, with afternoon snacks and the dinner menu on offer from Wednesdays to Saturdays. Sunday is their Buffet Brunch with their Grill Menu available alongside as well. Join them for a tasty meal beachfront or by the pool for your choice of ambiance.

This Saturday is the Mansion Perfect 5 Party at Sugar Club, with music by Dee Jay Charlie and DJ Anya and available bottle service for those that reserve tables.

Le Bistro Restaurant reopens on Thursday 3rd October offering divine, authentic French cuisine with a Caribbean twist. They will open Tuesday to Sunday serving dinner from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm.

The culinary students of ABHTI invite you out to the Atlantic View Restaurant as they prepare delectable lunch under the guidance of world-class chef instructors from Wednesday through Friday starting Wednesday October 9th. Their special for this trimester is Lunch for Two, with 2 main courses, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine for only EC$99 – join them!

Next Thursday, come out to Big Banana in Heritage Quay and enjoy live music by Asher Otto & Itchyfeet with specials on cocktails and beer.

Check out Ilan Chefs & Eventz Catering for all your party catering needs, plus delicious food being served from Monday to Saturday including breakfast, bites on the go or to stay, local lunch specials and Soul Food Saturdays.

Blue Waters has lots of dining and spa options open to the public, with three fantastic restaurants open serving French, Italian or Caribbean cuisine, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner on the compound. You can also take advantage of The Cove Spa and their Elemis range of luxury spa and skincare treatments to rejuvinate your mind, body and soul.

SPORT SHORTS

This Saturday is the Tennis 10s Red Ball Tournament for youth aged 6 – 8, taking place at the Halcyon Tennis Club Grounds from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Come out to encourage the children as they compete and see the future players in action.

COMMUNITY

Auditions are complete and it’s finally time for Antigua’s “Youth Got Talent” Competition, set for Friday at the Multipurpose Cultural Centre at Perry Bay. Come out and support the young local talents as they compete to take the crown.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Breast Friends has organized events throughout the month to spread awareness, starting on Saturday with a Health Day and Walk.

This Saturday is the Medical Benefit Scheme's Run for fun, Walk for Sport and Ride for Style event, starting with a warm up at 5:00 am at their headquarters on Nevis Street.

The Fitches Creek Residents’ Association hosts their Home and Garden Show on Sunday on the corner of Fitches Creek Drive and Wild Fig Lane, starting at 11:00 am until. There will be exhibitions, as well as drinks and food available for purchase, including some sumptuous local dishes, and there will be entertainment for the kids with a bounce castle and other fun booths. Funds raised go toward installing CCTV camera in the neighbourhood to increase safety.

The National Office of Disaster Services invites you to their Disaster Management Exhibition on Tuesday October 8th at the National Heros Park at the Public Market from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm. They will be joined by EMS, the Fire Department, The Met Office, Plant Protection Unit, the Red Cross and others to bring awareness to disaster management.
