CARNIVAL COUNTDOWN - 3 WEEKS LEFT Wednesday 3rd July 2013

We are just over three weeks away from the Opening Parade of Carnival and the anticipation continues to build as the quarter and semi finals of the Calypso and Party Monarch competitions are well under way, with the Calypso quarters being held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the various tents. Check out the 2013 Carnival calendar and mark the dates for the events you cannot miss, like the Queen of Carnival competition or Teen Splash, and you can see the see the queen contestants and teen contestants here.
Look forward to upcoming events like the Party Monarch Semi Finals next Sunday, and you can see the artists that made the cut here, and upcoming fetes like Power Rumble on Friday 19th and Rotary’s Colours Fete on Saturday 20th, under the theme of Colours in Vegas.
The Rotary Colours Pre-Fete is set for this Friday from 3:00 pm onward, with live music by Itchyfeet and Chosen Sounds on the decks. The pre-fete has no cover charge and there will be wine tasting as well, all happening at Rotary House on Factory Road.
