This will be the 2nd annual “SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON CHARITY GOLF DAY” and will be held on Saturday 24th May 2025 from 9 am at the Cedar Valley Golf Club.

Many called the last event the BEST golf tournament ever held at Cedar Valley!

Sir Richie has identified two charities, which will be the recipients of proceeds from the event. They are the Striving for Excellence Antigua Golf Academy, and the Bright Minds Project, which was founded and adopted by the Kiwanis Club of Antigua AR Fusion.

On the day, Sir Richie will be the “Pro”, and players will have a chance to compete against him and other Cricket Celebrities for special prizes. The tournament is open to all, so get your mates together and make it a memorable, fun day.

There will be a maximum of 80 players for the event. Please note that players can register as a team of 2 or individually, and we will assign them to a team.

The tournament format will be a 2-person “scramble,” and the overall net-winning team will receive the “Sir Richie Richardson Cup.” There will be 1st Net & 2nd Net, and 1st Gross & 2nd Gross prizes.

There will also be lots of other prizes to be won, including “beat the pro” (closest to the pin) on holes number 2, 8, 11, 13 & 15. There will also be Closest-to-the-line & Longest Drive prizes on the 18th hole and a new 2025 ICON EV Golf Cart – compliments ANJO INSURANCE & OUTDOOR WORLD ANTIGUA - for a hole-in-one prize on hole # 13. The overall net-winning team (The Champs) will receive two (2) Return Airline Tickets to any destination in the Caribbean, compliments of LIAT 20 – Pride of the Caribbean!

The cost per person for this package is US $110.00 or EC $300.00 (Juniors, half price) and includes:
• One round (18 holes) green fees
• One round (18 holes) cart fees
• Morning Snack including juice, coffee or tea from (8:30 am)
• Antiguan-style Buffet Lunch
• Two alcoholic drink tickets
• One bottle of water per person at tee time
• Free refreshment (surprise) during play
• Drinks carts will be available around the course and drink tickets will be accepted
After play (approx. 1 pm), there will be a Juniors & Seniors non-golfer putting competition! $10 & $20 respectively per 3-ball attempts. Winners of each category will receive six (6) months of FREE golf lessons with our Cedar Valley Golf Pro.
