ETA SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION Thursday 16th January 2025

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade & Barbuda Affairs of Antigua & Barbuda would like to inform all nationals about new immigration policies introduced by the United Kingdom. Starting from 8th January 2025, the UK will require Antigua & Barbuda passport holders to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) if they are traveling to the UK for stays under six months and do not need a visa.
The ETA system is part of the UK’s effort to modernize and control immigration in a more digital way. If you are an Antigua & Barbuda national, you can start applying for your ETA from 27th November 2024. You must have your ETA approved before traveling to the UK starting from 8th January 2025.
The application process is simple and done online through the official UK Government website. You will need to provide basic details such as personal information, travel plans, and passport information. Once approved, the ETA will be sent electronically.
For more information about the ETA and to apply, please visit the official UK Government website at www.gov.uk/electronic-travel-authorisation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade & Barbuda Affairs encourages all nationals to apply for their ETA before traveling to the UK to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.
