WORLD-RECORD BREAKING TRANS-ATLANTIC ROW ENDS IN ANTIGUA
Friday 1st May 2020

Graham Walters is now the oldest person ever to row the Atlantic alone, having arrived into Nelson’s Dockyard on 29th April 2020, at 72 years old.

Following 94 days at sea, the A&B Coast Guard escorted Graham into Nelson’s Dockyard, and to a new reality – considering the current global climate that COVID-19 has created. While Graham has been getting updates on the changing world from his wife throughout his row, it’s a big difference to what was normal when he started his row three months ago.

Following a warm welcome by supporters in dinghies, and blaring superyacht horns, Graham enjoyed a well-deserved burger alongside champagne. Now, Graham will have to self-isolate, and wait until travel restrictions are lifted to return home to the UK.

Read the article from Antigua Observer, where Graham details more about his now fifth Atlantic crossing.

Congratulations Graham and welcome to Antigua!
