RESTAURANTS REOPEN FOR TAKE-OUT & DELIVERY SERVICES Thursday 23rd April 2020
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has extended the islandwide curfew from 6am-6pm daily for essential services until the 15th of May, 2020. Furthermore, restaurants are now allowed to operate on a take-out basis only for the next 23-day period, see excerpts below.
During the 23-day period, … restaurants may open for delivery, drive-thru and curbside deliveries only; no dine-in patrons are allowed. Staff and customers who collect food are to obey the social distancing rules (as far as possible) and all hygiene practices already established are to be obeyed. Frequent hand washing is emphasized.
We will be updating the information for restaurant operators that are reopening for take-out, curbside pickup, and delivery-only services in the next few days.
