LATEST ANTIGUA LIONFISH HUNT BIGGEST SUCCESS YET Friday 28th November 2014
The Antigua Lionfish Hunters’ November 16 hunt recorded the most success to date with more participants than ever before yielding more than 300 of these predatory fish from Antigua’s waters. That is more lionfish than ever caught in a previous hunt.
The fish were cleaned at Antigua Yacht Club Marina with much of it being cooked up to be enjoyed by everyone on the dock or sold for consumption elsewhere.
Antigua Lionfish Hunters thanked cooks Nico and Annalea, Carlo Falcone for free docking at Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Skullduggery for the rum, Teon, Joseph and Amos for preparing the fish, Angie for ingredients and assistance, Mrs. Irving for giving out the rum, John for identifying the locations with the most lionfish and Eli for advertising, hunting and giving the prize-giving speech. Thanks were also offer to all the people who brought their boats and participated.
