NONSUCH BAY RS ELITE CHALLENGE, JOLLY HARBOUR NOTICE TO MARINERS, CABARET FUNDRAISER AND MUCH MORE . . . Monday 18th March 2013
Dear Readers:
As usual at this time of year, there is no shortage of yachting activities to report on. I would like to draw your attention to the Notice to Mariners/Navigational Warning recently issued by Jolly Harbour with respect to the dredging activity that will begin soon at the entrance to the harbour. Please exercise extra caution when entering and exiting the harbour during this project.
Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta is just around the corner and will be closely followed by Antigua Sailing Week. As we go to press, there are 38 confirmed entries for Classic Regatta with many more in the pipeline so it's shaping up to be another well attended and very successful event.
Antigua Sailing Week's entry list is also shaping up well and plans for another fantastic week of sailing are being finalized. If you haven't yet submitted your online entry, now is the time to do it! We're also reminded of Antigua Sailing Week's partnership with Nonsuch Bay Resort to bring us the Nonsuch Bay RS Elite Challenge invitational event from Pigeon Beach on Lay Day. With some of the world's top sailors participating, this Challenge will provide exceptional spectating opportunities from the beach.
