VANISHING SAIL PROGRESS UPDATE #13 Sunday 30th September 2012
Alexis Andrews provides an update on the progress of the film, Vanishing Sail.
Dear Backers,
For the past two hot months we have been busy working on reward fulfillment - the majority of which have now been shipped.
We have also been backing up & going through all the project footage, which currently amounts to over 4 Terabytes of data accessed across 12 external hard drives!
One of the most time consuming aspects of this type of work is the logging of material - transcribing and annotating the interviews alone has been monumental: 43 people, filmed in 7 islands + 2 continents = PLENTY stories!
During the next months, the creative process will step into play once more: fitting together the pieces of this grand puzzle into a paper edit which will form the next stage of post production for our film.
