REBIRTH OF YACHTING WORLD ROUND ANTIGUA RACE AND THE SUMMER ROUND UP Thursday 11th August 2011

While many of our readers may be on vacation in some exotic location in the world at this time of year, there is still plenty of activity in yachting in Antigua and elsewhere in the Caribbean!
Antigua’s National Sailing Academy has just completed its first very successful year! The Antiguan youth team had great success at the Chief Minister’s Cup in Tortola last month! Trials have recently begun for the Antigua Team for the Caribbean Dinghy Championships to be hosted by Antigua Yacht Club later this month. Jolly Harbour Yacht Club has elected new board members, and the Caribbean Marine Association has been revamped with a new president and redefined objectives.
