We’re very excited to announce a new version of the Jolly Harbour Valentine’s Regatta.  In honour of its 20th anniversary, an event marketing and management company has been retained by a group of interested parties in conjunction with Jolly Harbour Yacht Club to grow the event into a major international sailing festival.  The dates for 2013 are February 7 to 10.  Mark them on your calendar and watch this space for more news about this exciting event!

The Caribbean has sent five sailors to the Olympics this summer so let’s cheer them on and let them know how proud we are of them.  Although Antigua does not have any sailors in its numbers this year, we do have five incredible athletes who are proudly representing Antigua in London – three in athletics and two in swimming.  Congratulations to all five athletes and best of luck at the Games!

Meanwhile, back in Antigua the summer months are a wonderful time to enjoy all that Antigua has to offer in a slightly more relaxed manner than during the busy winter months.  So take advantage of one of the many ways available to get out on the water and enjoy Antigua in the summer.  And don’t forget to prepare your fishing gear because the upcoming sport fishing tournament is less than two months away!
