Starting on 8th September, Tiger will compete in the TT:R Open Weifang, followed by the TT:R Open World Championships over 18th – 23rd September. The TT:R Open Age World Championships will be the biggest event for Tiger this year and is another chance to increase his ranking and chances at the Youth Olympics in 2018.
Based on a 12th place in Korea with no previous kitefoil training, Tiger has also been invited to compete in the adult Kitefoil GoldCup, with the Kitefoil GoldCup Weifang over 8th – 14th September and the Kitefoil GoldCup Pingtan over 18th – 23rd September. These events are an opportunity for Tiger to gain more experience with kitefoiling, however his current focus remains on Twin Tip Racing, as kitefoiling is not represented in the 2018 Youth Olympics.
Stay tuned for updates on Tiger and follow the Twin Tip Racing Facebook Page for competition photos and results.
