From Antigua, and turned pro-sailor out of high school, Louis Sinclair has a number of sailing achievements under his belt, and will undertake his biggest challenge to date as part of Oracle Team USA for the 35th America's Cup.
Sinclair is one of four grinders on the team, described as "the engine of the space ship" on the AC50 foiling catamaran in Red Bull's article "On the grind with sailor Louis Sinclair", giving insight to the rigorous training that he and the team have been doing in preparation for the big event.

Antigua is no stranger to the America's Cup, having one of our local sailing legends Shannon Falcone aiding Oracle Team USA's spectacular win in 2013 in the 34th America's Cup. This year, we'll be cheering on Louis proudly as he competes against and alongside some of the world's best.
The series of qualifying races will begin on May 26th in Bermuda leading to the start of the 35th America's Cup on June 17th, 2017. See the America's Cup schedule here.
