MEGA D YOUTH FOUNDATION PRESENTS YOUTH BASKETBALL TEAM - MYF BALLERZ Monday 20th June 2011
Mega D Youth Foundation has opened another part way to its youth in sports.
It’s a new season for basket ball and the youth are excited for this time of the year.
This year the Mega D Youth Foundation has formed its first Junior League basket ball team call MYF Ballerz. Apart from basketball these young players will have to focus on school as their main priority and may also of MYF Club house for studying or extra help.
MYF is focusing on motivating others in walking the positive way volunteering in the community and will also be coached in being team players and showing respect , and discipline to others.
MYF Ballerz has started off on the right foot, being sponsored by Carib Tel, DHL, Western Union and Heavenly water that is behind the team.
The Young players are: Dejuan Huggins, Rashid Maduro, Evan Hassel, Roche Renfrum, Jaiir Jack, Bijan Mills, Reinier Dinzey, Donnell Abraham, Junior Saladin, Nkiesha Zegers, Eugene Faneyt, Yeraldi Gomez and Captain Marvin Ellis. Team color Purple/Black.
After a few months of practicing MYF Ballerz is ready for this new season and will be looking forward to a healthy fun game. And also open for invitations on other Island.
The Basket ball seasons starts off with a knock out tournament from June 18th until July 16th 2011.
The annual Competition begins from August 27th and ends October 29th 2011. This all takes place at Lord Gene Sports Complex. Also taking part in this competition will be cadets and senior basketball teams from Statia.
